Perfect Tandoori chicken




For the Chicken:
• 1 kg chicken (thighs and leg pieces – about 5 pieces total)


Ingredients for Marinade:
• 3 tbsp oil
• 2 tsp red chilli powder
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• Salt – as per taste
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder (for color)
• 2 tsp tandoori chicken masala
• 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 1/4 cup thick curd (yogurt)
• 1 tbsp besan (gram flour)
• 1/2 lemon slice – squeezed


Prepare Marinade:
1. In a large bowl, combine oil, spices, ginger garlic paste, curd, besan, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade. Coat them evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours (overnight for deeper flavor).

 Air Frying:
3.Preheat air fryer to 365°F.
4.Arrange marinated chicken in the air fryer basket/tray.
5.Cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6.If the chicken looks dry midway, brush with oil or butter.

After Cooking:
7.Brush with melted butter for a glossy finish.
8.Serve Hot with green chutney, onion rings & lemon wedges.
