Tomato - 2 m round ones - chopped bite size
Water - 2 cups
List 2
Tamarind - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 12 leaves
Cilantro leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Rasam powder - 1 tsp ( add more if you need more spicy)
Black pepper powder - 1/8 tsp
List 3:
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Methi seeds - 4 seeds
Dry red chili - 2 broken
Garlic - 4-5 big cloves crushed
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Preparation :
Boil tomatoes for 10 mins with little water and let it cool and squeeze them nicely.
Method:
1. Now take boiled and squeezed tamato, add list 2 ingredients and let it boil nicely.
2. Now heat oil in a pan, add list 3 ingredients and fry garlic until brown and add hing and now add to tomato rasam.
3. Switch off the stove and eat with rice.
