Hyderabadi egg salan / Egg masala gravy

Hyderabadi egg salan



Oil - 1/2 cup

Cumins seeds - 1 tsp

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Curry leaves - 10 - 12 leaves

Dry red chili - 4  (break them) 

Onion -  2 medium  Chopped very fine or grind it paste

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp 

Red chilli powder 2 tsp

Salt  - 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - ½ tsp 

Tomato - 4 medium - grind it to paste

Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup

Green chilies - 4 whole

Coriander powder  - 1tsp 

Cumin powder - 1tsp 

Black pepper powder  - 1 tsp

Eggs - 6

Water - 1 cup



Method : 

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chili and fry for a min.
  2. Now add onions and fry till light brown 
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric and salt and mix well for a min 
  4. Now add tomato puree and cook for 5 mins on medium heat
  5. Now add coriander leaves, green chili, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper and mix well for a min
  6. Now add  Boiled eggs, water and cook for 5 mins on low flames till you oil leaves on sides
  7. Serve with rice or roti
