 Tomato rice with MTR tomato rice powder




Cooked rice - 1 cup

Oil - 2 tbsp

Chana Dal - 1 tsp

Urad Dal - 1 tsp

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Cumin seeds - 1tsp

Onion - 1/2 cup chopped

Curry leaves - 6 chopped

Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

MTR tomato powder - 2-3 tsp

Lemon - 1/2 ( garnish)

Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (garnish)



Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add Chana Dal, Urad Dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fry till dal are light golden brown.
  2. Now add onion, curry leaves, and fry nicely until onions turn transculent.
  3. Now add cooked rice, MTR powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well and cook on low flame for 5 mins.
  4. Garnish with lemon and coriander leaves.
