Tomato rice with MTR tomato rice powder
Cooked rice - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
Curry leaves - 6 chopped
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
MTR tomato powder - 2-3 tsp
Lemon - 1/2 ( garnish)
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (garnish)
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add Chana Dal, Urad Dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fry till dal are light golden brown.
- Now add onion, curry leaves, and fry nicely until onions turn transculent.
- Now add cooked rice, MTR powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well and cook on low flame for 5 mins.
- Garnish with lemon and coriander leaves.
