 Hyderabadi mutton fry


Set 1 ingredient

Mutton - 2 lbs ( boneless or with bones)

Red chili powder - 3/4 tsp

Kashmiri chili powder - 3/4 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Salt - 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp

Oil - 5-6 tbsp

Water - 1.25 cups of water


Set 2 ingredients

Green chili - 5 whole

Curry leaves - 20 leaves

Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup


Garam Masala or any meat masala - 1/2 tsp


Tomato - 1 - make a smooth paste



Method :

  1. Heat pressure cooker, add set 1 ingredient, and mix well
  2. Now cook on medium flame and  give pressure for 6 whistles
  3. Once pressure is released, open the lid and add tomato paste, green chilis, curry leaves, and coriander leaves and mix well.
  4. Keep stirring until the mutton changes to dark color and oil leaves on the sides.
  5. Sprinkle Garam Masala on top and cook for a min and it’s ready to serve.
